Sample Wine Country Day

A thoughtfully paced day that balances tastings, scenery, and time to enjoy each experience.

A Day in Napa Valley

Napa tastings are typically reservation-only and more structured, focusing on Cabernet Sauvignon and estate storytelling.

11:00 AM — First Estate Tasting
Seated tasting, private or semi-private, hosted by a dedicated wine educator.
1:00 PM — Lunch
Winery lunch pairing or reserved restaurant stop. Napa days feel polished and intentional.
2:30 PM — Second Tasting
Premium or reserve-focused experience, diving into vineyard and winemaking details.

A Day in Sonoma County

Sonoma offers a relaxed pace, scenic drives, and a mix of boutique and family-owned wineries.

10:30 AM — First Tasting
Start at a small or mid-sized winery with unhurried tastings and outdoor seating.
12:30 PM — Lunch Break
Enjoy a local café, winery lunch pairing, or picnic stop. Never rushed.
2:00 PM — Second Tasting
Try a contrasting style or vineyard with scenic views.
3:30 PM — Optional Third Stop
For those who want a fuller day: casual third tasting or specialty stop (sparkling, rosé, or dessert wines).
Reservations handled for you:

All winery reservations are secured by Scenic Cellars before your trip — including experiences that are difficult to book independently. Specific wineries are selected based on your preferences, group size, and travel dates.

Hotel pickup available:

Transportation from your hotel can be arranged in advance — let us know when booking and we'll do our best to coordinate based on availability.

Planning Note:

Due to travel time between regions, we recommend focusing on one region per day. If combining Napa and Sonoma, a lighter schedule (e.g., two wineries in one region and one in the other) makes the experience far more enjoyable.
